STRONG CAST AND DIRECTOR
Billy (DiCaprio) becomes, together with Colin (Damon), a polisher in Boston. Colin fights the ranks while Billy struggles to survive as an infiltrator in the mafia underworld. The mafia is led by Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson) and has someone on the police which helps him. The closer the police get to Costello, the more exposed Billy and Colin become. Martin Scorsese with Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen, Jackie Nicholson with Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg are included in this crime thriller.
It’s hard to fail this one, it’s easy to like. It grabs hold of you in the first moment in a positive way. It is long, but long didn’t matter as the handling is enjoyable to keep up. The director knows how to convey emotions and does it brilliantly where nothing goes unnoticed! The efforts of the actors are different despite their high star status. Regin is the best, and it was an Oscar winner four times. It is a new recording of an older film. Also note that after about 19 minutes, the film’s title will appear. Definitely worth watching with one of Hollywood’s best male actors.
