John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, och Max von Sydow kommer att ansluta sig med original skådisarna Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, och Kenny Baker i “Star Wars: Episode VII.

I en nyligen intervju  sade Disney chefen Bob Iger den nya filmen kommer att  ske 30 år efter 1983 då “Return of the Jedi” var aktuell och kommer att innehålla nya och bekanta ansikten. Abrams och Lawrence Kasdan gjorde en ny omskrivning av manusskriptet.
