BEST FANTASY & DRAMA SERIES OF ALL TIME
It is political intrigue, some love and unexpected actions that are included when fighting for the throne of the seven kingdom, more known as Westeros. One can say that it is a younger version of the Lord of the Rings of J.R.R Tolkien.
However, GRRM’s version of a Middle Ages world is more cruel, more nudity, brutal and more insightful. And if you have read the books, which I have done to some extent, you know what well-made series this is where they follow the books in a good and clear way. It’s certainly an ambitious series and it seems almost unruly when a character dies and next coming in.
As an endless football match where every player gets injured and dies. It comes in new actors, new characters every season, but it’s not always that the new ones add something to story apart from Pedro Pascal, who played Oberyn Martell who really impressed many.
The message of the series is that nobody is safe and no one is neither good nor evil and has been penetrated all four seasons. As soon as a dramatic event happens, the social media is noticeable because many of the viewers are so involved in the series so it becomes realistic. And the music is important for creating the desired drama, and no series has been successful as well as Game of Thrones in terms of instrumental music. Close, but it does not hit Howard Shore’s Soundtrack for LOTR-Trilogin. It has Fantasy ingredients that you probably would expect – war, dragons and some graphic moments and things you do not understand. HBO’s popular series differs from ordinary fantasy series, because here the characters get space to evolve, which very much contributes to one of the most popular and expensive series of channels.
The most iconic deaths in this series’s short but memorable story are, among other things, when Eddard Stark wiped his head, or the Red Wedding ruled by Lord Walder Frey where Robb and Catelyn Stark were killed in a dramatic way. Then there came to the captive wedding between Joffrey Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell, where the young king gets poisoned and dies. And as you already know, Winter is Coming …
There were many questions left unanswered in the fourth season and more than half the fifth season, the series has tried to assemble the loose wires previously left unanswered. As many fans already know, the sixth season of premiere comes next year and after the Hardhome – White Walkers massacre, Dance of Dragons – Daenerys sits on Drogon and flies away when the Sons of the Harpy attacks the battlefield, and the season finals Mothers Mercy learn the thrill becomes ever more intense.
A remarkable and memorable series that puts track of the viewer from the first episode to the sixth season’s final episode.
