A WORTHY FIRST SEQUEL
It is darker and mystical about the evil Lord Voldemort and becomes darker further into the Saga. This time it’s about an old chamber, a talking Alf called Dobby and a selfish writer. History feels very good and even if it still focuses on children and there are many comical elements that disappear later in the film series. Have read the books several times during when I was younger, and the actors really live up to the J. K Rowling version of the Magician.
They manage, do their jobs and they get older and it shows in their way of acting. The younger generation of the actors has become more confident in their replayed roles and then they are even more tough and the soft adventure style that last film has disappeared and the magician grows up.
The effects work even if it is over eleven years since the premiere. 2002 was an eventful year, when Lord of the Rings: the Two Towers, Star Wars: Episode II And this movie premiered. Criticism has been received, so be it. But it is Is Clearly a favorite movie in the immensely popular series about the magician. It is not completely barninriktad and also youth related as it is more darker than the previous film, it has a certain charm as it transitions from childhood to youth.
Many references are directed to this film at the end of the series itself. It is an important film as it is the very beginning of the war against the evil sorcerers.
