REVOLUTIONARY START
That George Lucas’ epic space adventure about Luke and Leia, Chewbacca, Han Solo , and Obi-Wan Kenobi and Lord Darth Vader-Then there are the droids C-3PO and R2-D2. They do not have great roles but this space adventure would probably not be the same without their presence, would have such an impact in the world had not many calculated when they entered the cinema salon in the late seventies. George Lucas had to take bank loans to be able to fund the film and after the popular inflation that this movie created, he learns not to need it again.
The comic tone of the film permeates the entire saga and has a parallel connection to the more dramatic and more serious scenes. There are actually a few really serious, dramatic films without the comic undertone. The effects are striking and handmade, only where it feels like serious craftsmanship. Despite its 37-year history, the film is innovative and has a revolutionary start to one of the biggest film franchises ever.
If you have seen the prequel, you know what characters are already and what story they have behind them. Some new characters to the original trilogy include Chewbacca, Han Solo with Millenium Falcon and Darth Vader with James Earl Jones ‘ voice. There are also Stormtrooper, which may seem stupid but still cunning.
The film itself is iconic. There’s plenty to get out of this epic, wonderfully adventurous fairy tale that was created a long time ago. The development of the characters is evident between each film. The visual effects are striking, the music is sufficiently nursing to lift this film to one of the best films of the seventies. Many effects can be amateurish, but after all, it is part of the film’s charm and composition.
Even the actors Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fischer along with Guinness make the film worthy of their reputation at present. It received 6 wins out of ten Oscar nominations and it deserves it. has always had a hard time for aliens and extraterrestrial beings, and there is some in this film but not so much focus, when Luke and Darth Vader are at the center.
