Det är knappast en nyhet nu då David Benioff och D.B Weiss har blivit framgångsrika på Game of Thrones och nu satsar skrivarparet på en välkänd Sci-fi saga ute i rymden.
Den kommer vara oberoende från Rian Johnsons egna Star Wars-serie precis som den vanliga serien som går upp mot episod IX.
“David and Dan are some of the best storytellers working today,” said Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, in a statement. “Their command of complex characters, depth of story and richness of mythology will break new ground and boldly push Star Wars in ways I find incredibly exciting.”
Star Wars- serien kommer att börja efter att Game of Thrones har avslutats.
