According to both Independent and Slashfilm, two more actors has been added to adult cast for the second part of the tale of IT a.k.a Pennywise and the members of Loser Club.
As we knew before, Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, and Bill Hader will play Beverly, Bill, and Richie, respectively. Variety reports now that Andy Bean and James Ransone will play Stanley and Eddie for the second part. Additionally, Bill Skarsgård will reprise his role as Pennywise.
Slashfilm spoke with co-writer Gary Dauberman in september 2017 about the script:
“We are locked and loaded and ready to jump in the minute they say ‘go.’ The script is not done, but the script is being worked on. Obviously, all of the filmmakers are chomping at the bit to get started, and we have a very exciting shape, and Gary’s working away. I feel somewhat optimistic that we’ll get to make it, but there’s been no official decision.”
The sequel is scheduled to hit cinemas september 6th 2019.
