Ewan McGregor, best known from Star Wars prequel-trilogy, has now been cast as the villain in Birds of Prey (2020). Black Mask, also known as Roman Sionis, is from the comic book in 1985’s Batman No. 386 where he controls the criminal underworld of Gotham City.
Margot Robbie stars again as Harley Quinn, from Suicide Squad. Mary Elizabeth Winstead playing Huntress and Jurnee Smollett-Bell is casted as Black Canary. Rosie Perez playing Renee Montoya. Cathy Yan is playing this all-female team-up movie. Sue Kroll is producing along with Robbie.
James Gunn, known for Guardian of the Galaxy – movies, is for now set to direct Suicide Squad 2 as he abruptly was fired summer 2018. Suicide Squad 2 also stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.
