James Wan, director for the upcoming Aquaman now in december, has expressed a horror movie with Batman in it.
Wan has directed SAW and The Conjuring-movies. He is quite familiar to the world of horror and wants to do it with a popular comic-book character. He’s perfectly aware of the adaption version that has been released with the caped hero but yet not a horror-themed one.
Recently Wan talked about this new version of Batman to HeroicHollywood:
“That would be a potential fantasy of mine, but I feel like he’s been done quite a fair bit. But, I do love the idea of doing an outright scary Batman. I feel like that’d be really cool.”
Wan continued:
“In the past like most people I loved the idea of directing Batman, but a horror version of Batman. That would be a potential fantasy of mine, but I feel like he’s been done quite a fair bit. But, I do love the idea of doing an outright scary Batman. I feel like that’d be really cool.”
The idea for this project might not go hand in hand as Matt Reeves are directing DCEU’s upcoming The Batman as a noir caped story.
