
Christopher McQuarrie has signed on to helm as a director for Mission Impossible 7 and 8.
Recently reports that the director for Rouge Nation and Fallout returns to shoot the upcoming two movies back-to-back in hope of advancing the story’s continuation. After the instant hit of Mission Impossible: Fallout, with over $790 million at the box office, it’s safe to say that a good thing doesn’t die that easy. McQuarrie confirmed the news on his Twitter following Tom Cruises declare the movie’s release-dates; Summer 2021 and 2022.

It’s also reported that the movies starts their production sometimes in 2019. For the time being, Tom Cruise shoots the sequel to Top Gun and McQuarrie is writing the scripts for both movie.
