It’s not a secret that Hollywood studios try so desperate to relive old classic from Stephen King bibliography and a new sequel that is money laundering for the author and the studio itself. But news has revealed that Doctor Sleep has finally wrapped production, CinemaBlend reports.
The movie itself is about the year after events in The Shining, following Danny Torrance and his adult life. Ewan McGregor is playing the adult version of Danny in this film. Rebecca Ferguson is slated to play Rose the Hat, the female lead. Bruce Greenwood, known from Gerald’s Game, is cast as Dr. John Dalton. Stephen Kings universe doesn’t stop there. Pet Sematary arrives in April and the highly anticipated sequel of 2017’s IT arrives this fall.
Doctor Sleep is expected to be released in theater November 8, 2019!
