Marvel has gained some success considering the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which concludes an epic saga with Avengers: Endgame and concludes with the upcoming Spider-Man: Far from Home. Avengers: Endgame smashes record as the number one on the box-office of all time.
They also have Pixar, Walt Disney Motion Pictures, Walt Disney Animation, and the latest addition is 20th Century Fox that brings even more high-profile franchises to their schedule. The official schedule has been released and it looks like it going to be some big years to come.
The new trilogy of Star Wars is planned to be released every two years; 2022,2024 and 2026. And in between those years, when there is none Star Wars movie, Avatar is going to take that over that slot in December.
A lot of these titles are still untitled and still in the planning phase. The fifth Avatar is set to premiere in 2027. There’s a lot of these movies that do have to be developed before they’re planned to be released. Disney’s Artemis Fowl was even scheduled to be released in 2019, but this schedule does, in fact, show that ain’t the case.
One of the biggest movies still to be released from Disney this year is Aladdin, Toy Story 4, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Lion King, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
