Sigourney Weaver Confirms Her Return In Next Year’s”Ghostbusters 3″
The news about a third movie about the popular Ghostbusters, that first premiered in the late 1980’s, hit the world like a bombshell. Rotten Tomatoes reports that the legendary actress return to the continuation of the franchise.
Sigourney Weaver, who played Dana Barrett in the first two movies, has now confirmed to Parade.com in an Interview that she will return in next years upcoming sequel. She has also spoked about working with this movie:
“It’s going to be crazy working with the guys again.”
We already know from earlier reports that all of Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Bill Murray is set to return for a third movie in the beloved franchise. Last time, there was a female reboot which was poorly executed and thus it doesn’t have any connection to this movie at all.
The movie premiere July 10th, 2020 and is up against The Purge 5, in theaters. It will be directed by Ivan Reitman’s son Jason Reitman. Also joining the cast are Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Carrie Coon.
