First Look at Netflix’s The Witcher – Characters & Posters

The Witcher, a Netflix-series that is based on a polish best-selling fantasy book series written by the author Andrzej Sapkowski with a major fanbase, which has been revealed of the first look online.
New exciting content has been revealed online today. As we’ve known before, this series premiere this fall, 2019 and is created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. Lauren has also written episodes for the political drama White House and Justice.
This is going to be series fantasy-action-drama series. The Witcher has also become a popular video-game franchise, that actually continues the story of Geralt. The first season contains 8 episodes with 1 hour each.
The official premise is the following:
“Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.”

Henry Cavill has put down the mantle DC’s Superman and has become Geralt of Rivia, the monster-slayer. The character has previously been active in novels and a popular video-game franchise.
Among the rest of the cast, that has been recently revealed is YENNEFER and CIRI.
The showrunner of the series is Lauren S. Hissrich (@LHissrich on Twitter) and has revealed more than just three characters. She has also revealed several emblems for the series.
