AMC announced Saturday that the successful post-apocalyptic drama series will be renewed for the 11th season and add to that, actress Lauren Cohan who played Maggie Greene will return as a series regular.
The Walking Dead (2010- ) series is based on an Image Comics-published comic book series written by Robert Kirkman. It’s about a traveling group of survivors who are searching for a safe and secure home while being in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

The series is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, Kang, Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Joseph Incaprera, and Denise Huth, with the starring cast of Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Seth Gilliam, Avi Nash, Callan McAuliffe, Cooper Andrews, Eleanor Matsuura, Nadia Hilker, Cailey Fleming, Samantha Morton, Ryan Hurst, Cassady McClincy and Lauren Ridloff.’
The 10th Season has its premiere on October 6th, 2019.
