The cast for the Kenneth Branagh’s remake of the Agatha Christie story has been announced.
The film is about Hercule Poirot who while on vacation on the Nile, must investigate the murder of a young heiress. It’s the sequel to Kenneth Branagh’s film Murder on the Orient Express (2017), which he will return for as the director.
“Agatha Christie has written a riveting story of emotional chaos and violent criminality and Michael Green has once again written a screenplay to match…. There are significant new twists, an awe-inspiring desert landscape, and a chance to celebrate big screen entertainment in glorious 65 millimeter celluloid!” said Baranagh in press statement for the film.

Kenneth Branagh, Gal Gadot, Letitia Wright, Armie Hammer, Annette Bening, Ali Fazal, Sophie Okonedo, Tom Bateman, Emma Mackey, Dawn French, Rose Leslie, Jennifer Saunders, Russell Brand.
The film has its premiere on October 9, 2020.
