It is now set that actor Ben Affleck will star in director Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming Action Thriller Hypnotic.
It was announced by Studio 8 and Solstice Studios who also will produce the film. Rodriguez himself and Studio 8s Jeff Robinov, Guy Danella and John Graham will act as the producers.
The story was written by Rodriguez together with Max Borenstein, and in this movie, the famous actor will star as a detective who gets involved in a mystery about his missing daughter and some high-end heists.
“Working with Ben on his award-winning projects, including ‘Argo’ and ‘The Town,’ I have seen how his versatility and creativity has made him one of the most talented filmmakers both in front of and behind the camera […] It’s very meaningful to be collaborating with Ben again on this uniquely riveting suspense thriller, and I know he and Robert will make a terrific film together,” commented Robinov in a statement.
Fans of Affleck can see him in Ridley Scott’s upcoming film The Last Duel which is based on a script by himself and Matt Damon and stars both.
