Chris Aronson; Hired As President Over Film Distribution At Paramount Pictures

The ex-boss for 20th Century Fox on domestic distribution becomes president over distribution on December 2nd  at Paramount Pictures.

Aronson has given the title President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution and is reporting to the head-presidents Weinstock and Mary Daily. Deadline reports that Aronson has a good reputation to cover and he oversaw the distribution of Avatar, Bohemian Rhapsody,  X-Men franchise, Deadpool-series over at Fox and so much more of their film repertoire. Kyle Davies was the head of Paramount’s domestic distribution before Aronson and the bosses thanks him for his service:

“Kyle is the consummate professional and has been an incredible asset to Paramount’s distribution business, as well as a fantastic colleague to all of us fortunate enough to work with him,” say Weinstock and Daily. “We thank him for his dedication and service.”

Aronson is expected to oversee all types of distribution and has an overall distribution strategy in mind.

“In an ever-evolving distribution landscape, Chris has the ideal balance of experience in the arena and strategic acumen, as well as strong filmmaker relationships. We are thrilled to have him onboard and can’t wait to see where his leadership takes our distribution strategy and team.” Stated both Weinstock and Daily.

Aronson is very experienced to handle the industry with over 30-year, a veteran that has achieved a lot in his career and that Paramount gladly will see as the president. As Disney could not handle him or get him a good place to work on, he has finally found something.
