Gary Oldman Joins Apple’s Slow Horses 

The TV-series Slow Horses follows a group of British Intelligence agents of MI5, named Slough House.

Oldman is set to play Jackson Lamb, the leader of Slough House. The series is based on Mick Herron first of six novels. Another novella from Herron is coming in january.

See-Saw Films is set to produce this series. Will Smith from Veep writes and executive produce together with Graham Yost, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Gail Matrux, and Douglas Urbanski.

Gary Oldman returns to TV after has been most known for film-roles. He guest-starred in one episode of Friends. Oldman won an Oscar with his performance in Darkest Hour as Winston Churchill. He has also starred in franchises like Harry Potter and Nolan’s The Dark Knight.

AppleTV+ launched worldwide online as a independent streaming platform on November 1st, to somewhat a disappointment and not that many subscribers.
