Sam Worthington And David Hyde Pierce Joins ‘The Georgetown Project’

Sam Worthington, from Avatar, and David Hyde Pierce of Frasier-fame joins Oscar winner Russell Crowe in lead roles for the upcoming supernatural thriller.
The film is being produced by Miramax while being written and directed by Joshua John Miller and M.A. Fortin, whose previous works include USA Network‘s action-drama series Queen of the South. Bill Block of Miramax will produce together with Kevin Williamson and Ben Fast from Outerbanks.
Hollywoodreporter.com describes the plot.
“[…] follows troubled actor Anthony Miller […] who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter […] wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play,”
Other notable cast members are Ryan Simpkins who will play Lee Miller and Chloe Bailey who is set to be Blake Holloway, the actress who plays opposite Russell Crowe’s character Anthony Miller in the movie. It rumoured that Tracey Bonner and Samantha Mathisto would join the production very soon.
Further information about Worthington’s and Pierce’s roles has yet to be released. The Georgetown Project is at the moment scheduled for a 2020 premiere.
