Hawley is reported to helm the writing and directing, producing the film alongside J.J Abrams who directed the prior movies. The original cast is expected to return as crew members on Enterprise.
“…understanding is Hawley will helm the fourth film in this iteration of the venerable franchise, with the Enterprise crew led by Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, and Karl Urban.”
Noah Hawley has created Fargo for FX Networks. He has written many novels, debuted as a film director and produced several other popular series. Last Star Trek movie premiered in 2016. There’s also a spinoff in the making, possibly directed by Quentin Tarantino.
