Warner Bros. Remakes ‘The Fugitive’; Albert Hughes To Direct
The classical thriller with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones returns as Albert Hughes direct the remake at Warner Bros, where Ford was the murder suspect and Jones the police officer.
The 1993 classical movie, directed by Andrew Davis and the TV-series from 1963 is getting a new remake. The studio is trying to bring it back to life again. The movie from the 90’s was nominated for seven Oscars with Tommy Lee Jones winning for Best Supporting Actor. There is also a remake on the way with Kiefer Sutherland as the hunter and Boyd Holbrook as the possible killer, but in a slightly more shorter form. The shorter form takes place in present time, based false accusations on social media.
Hughes directed Alpha recently and before that, he teamed-up to direct The Book of Eli. He has also directed the first and second episode of Showtime limited series the Good lord Bird.
