James Gunn has gone from a Twitter scapegoat to directing The Suicide Squad to return to Disney, to helm the direction of the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
As this is for the time being a rumor that passes around on the internet, it hasn’t been confirmed just yet.

In a post on Instagram, at James Gunn’s account, he explained in the comments section that the filming is set to start in one year. That would also mean the fact that the third Guardians of the Galaxy set to premiere in probably May 2022, as Black Panther II is set to premiere February the same year or it happens a year later.
