The Skrulls are returning but maybe in TV-format also. At least that’s what the reports say.

Bear in mind that this is just a rumour but as Bleeding Cool has reported before in late January, this could be a reality for once. It looks like Marvel Studios has greenlighted a new A-listed series for Disney+. And from what it looks like it is Secret invasion. Based on the comic-book of Skrulls invading earth. They had an important appearance in Captain Marvel (2019). It would also be a good moment to introduce Nova, a significant character for the cosmic part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This storyline will fit right into the plot of Captain Marvel 2. Kevin Feige has hinted that this is a possibility when speaking with Comicbook.com:

“Just like not all humans are bad, and not all humans are good, I think Skrulls probably have a variety of moralities amongst them. When they can do what they can do, it probably gets very tempting. So, it’s fun to have introduced this concept and see where it goes.”

Nothing is confirmed yet, but it would be pretty cool to have an in-depth look at the Skrulls and not just the films. But something is going on and we’ll probably confirm this soon enough…
