Reports say that Apple has won the deal to produce Killers Of The Flower Moon with Paramount Pictures as the theatre distribution.
Deadline reports that Martin Scorsese upcoming film Killers Of The Flower Moon. This is the film with Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in the lead roles. Paramount has still not signed the contract for the deal, this will mean that the film be an Apple original and Paramount will distribute it worldwide. For a long time, Paramount was supposed to produce the film from Imperative Entertainment, who initially bought the rights for the film.
The budget for the film is set to be around $180 million to $200 million after taxes. This also means a big deal for Apple, with a big-budget film on the streaming platform and a worldwide distribution from Paramount. Apple, therefore, makes a big move to be a good opponent on the streaming market. Greyhound, the new WWII film with Tom Hanks, will also be available on Apple’s streaming platform.
The film will be adapted from David Grann’s novel Killers Of The Flower Moon: The Osage Murders And The Birth Of The FBI. Early on Paramount was the original financier of The Irishman who they later lost it against Netflix.
