Disney To Remake Atlantis: The Lost Empire

Disney to produce another live-action from their animated library, this time it goes to the animated film Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001).
Disney has something going on to remake every other film they have made since the beginning. Now with Mulan has a PG-13 rating, with no musical and less comedy, it’s a step up. An adaption for a mature audience. Then we have Hercules and Robin Hood for is also up for a remake. Mackans Film reported also on the news Robin Hood–remake a while ago.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) was by originally Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise. The screenplay was written by Tab Murphy, it grossed $186 million. This animation classic wasn’t a success at the time but still has remained a classic from Disney’s reportoar.
The nine-teen-year-old adventure film had no musical-numbers and had a distinct animation style. The film is still in early development and there’s still no director attached to the project yet.
