The Batman-film set for 2021 is the start of a planned trilogy and it might be a group of well-known villains involved.

 

Yes. The Batman is the big blockbuster set to arrive during 2021 and will be the first instalment of a trilogy. And of course, Matt Reeves is still directing the trilogy.

“It’s more Batman in his detective mode than we’ve seen in the films. The comics have a history of that. He’s supposed to be the world’s greatest detective, and that’s not necessarily been a part of what the movies have been.” Matt Reeves said about the new trilogy about Batman.

With Robert Pattinson now ready to dive in this dark, noir Batman story it’s also rumoured that Bruce Waynes enemy Joker will make an appears. The film has already many villains in the first film introduced with Catwoman, The Riddler and The Penguin included – as Mackans Film has previously reported.

This rumour throughout is probably for the in-development sequel where the Clown Prince of Crime will make his appearance. Daniel Richtman on Twitter says also that Matt Reeves wants to include the Joker in the first film and the final, which means this will be the first series where he maybe not dies in the first film.
