Night Shyamalan’s new secret film has given a first look with a teaser-poster to behold.
According to a Tweet by the director himself, the film is called Old and Rufus Sewell, Embeth Davidtz, Emun Elliott has joined the cast. Gael Garcia Bernal, Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Vicky Krieps, Abbey Lee, Nikki Amuka-Bird, and Ken Leung was already in the ensemble.

Shyamalan will write, produce, and direct Old for Universal Pictures. Any plot details are still unknown as the project is totally secret and will be connected to his other films. He will produce the picture together with Ashwin Rajan from Blinding Edge Pictures. Marc Bienstock and Steven Schneider will also be executive produce the film. Collider reports that the film is inspired by Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Levy and artist Frederik Peeters, which is about a dead body found on a beach and there is some unnatural thing going-on.
The film is set to premiere on July 23, 2021.
