Recent reports say that Netflix hit-series Stranger Things will resume production of the fourth season. Just like any other productions, the production has halted due to the pandemic.

The date is set on September 28, but it might change as it seems that every other thing this year is uncertain. Even for a hit-show like Stranger Things. The production has not been underway since March 13th and first, now, it seems that the new season can resume production next week.

“We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway — and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper,”

The writers took the hiatus and finished the scripts in mid-June, which also is believed to consist of 8 episodes. The Duffer brothers have teased some about Hopper’s destiny as he’s a prisoner with the soviets.

“Although it’s not all good news for our ‘American’ (Hopper); he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and others. Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything. Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more. In the meantime — pray for the American.”

Stranger Things is created by Matt and Ross Duffer and produced by Monkey Massacre Productions & 21 Laps Entertainment. The twins are in charge of the writings, directing, as showrunner and producing.
