Marvel is starting to showcase with their new series now that even Mr Isaac has been cast as the mercenary.
Oscar Isaac, coming recently from Star Wars, will continue to work with Disney by joining the new series. Jeremy Slater, the creator of The Umbrella Academy, has been chosen to develop and write together with a team of screenwriters.
Plot:
“Moon Knight, aka Marc Spector, is a mercenary who has numerous alter egos — cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant — in order to better fight the criminal underworld. But later he was established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Most recently, the character was a consultant who dresses in all-white and goes by the name Mr Knight.”
There is no director yet attached to the project and for now, no production start in sight either. Even Marvel Studios hasn’t commented on this. DisneyPlus has been busy with the content coming up with She-Hulk, Ms Marvel and WandaVision that premiere within two months. Oscar Isaac has been busy also with thriller The Card Counter coming up, the remake Dune and HBO limited series Scenes from a Marriage, a remake of Ingmar Bergman classic mini-series.
