Charlie Cox is attached to Spider-Man 3 (2021) to reprise his Matt Murdock.
The team of superheroes grows bigger. With three Peter Parkers, Electro and Doctor Octavius, rumours speculate that Daredevil is going to join the third film with Tom Holland in the lead. After Netflix axed the beloved Marvel-series, fans have rallied and petitioned to get Charlie Cox back in the game. Much likely with both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s own portrayal of the web-slinger however could just as well have a smaller role or a cameo in the shadow of the MCU team.
The main theme will probably surround the multiverse and the ensemble grows bigger with Cox’s return as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. Much likely will he play as a lawyer to offer Holland’s Parker a clean slate after the events in the second film? With him return to the role it will change the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever and could be a great set-up to the sequel Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness (2022) featuring Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda and Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular character, with Sam Raimi as director.
