Disney is ramping up with their announcements of Star Wars – live-action TV-series for their DisneyPlus streaming -service. This time it takes place in The Mandalorian timeline.

On Dec. 10, it was revealed by Disney that ten Star Wars series in the upcoming years. We already are aware of Rangers of the New Republic and Ahsoka. Both series that takes place in The Mandalorian t timeline, where both Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are expected to executive produce. ­­After the series finale of The Mandalorian, Disney announced that a new series titled The Book of Boba Fett will be launched in December 2021, featuring Temura Morrison as the lead. The news broke out after the death of Jeremy Bulloch who played the character in the two final films of the original trilogy. Morrison played father Jango Fett in Attack of the  Clones, the prequel from 2002.

Kathleen Kennedy has said that the next chapter will air Christmas 2021 and it could mean the third season of the successful series. But if’s the Boba Fett – series or not is still unclear. It will probably not be tied in with The Mandalorian and instead be a spin-off. If it’s later, it would mean that we’ve at least two new series from The Mandalorian – timeline. Considering that there’s a lot of action and not so much physical contact and short runtime on the episode it would result with a new series and a new season by late 2021.

Other series set in Star Wars is, of course, Obi-Wan,  Rogue One’s prequel  Andor and Acolyte
