Spider-Man 3 Grows Bigger; Octavious Returns
Alfred Molina is confirmed to return as Professor Otto Octavious in the third film.
The rumour concerning the return of the professor has been speculated for some time now but it’s first now it has been confirmed that the villain has returned in its glory form. Molina played the villain in Spider-Man 2 with Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker and Sam Raimi as director. It has also been speculated that Maguire will return just like Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as Doctor Strange, as we previously reported Jamie Foxx as villain Electro has also indicated that the film might have a trio of Spider-Man, creating Marvel Studios own Spider-Verse.
The film has a scheduled release on December 17, 2021, with Tom Holland to return as the titular character with Zendaya Coleman, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon and Tony Revolori to join him. Jon Watts return a third time as direct as well. Many points to a cross-over with a different incarnation of the web-slinger and their respective which would make the third Spider-Man film a step forward of the multiverse.
