Charmed with words, profanity and gritty violence, the third Deadpool is confirmed by Kevin Feige that is included in Marvel Cinematic Universe R-Rated.
The script is underway with supervising by Ryan Reynolds and is reported to not filming before 2022 with potential 2023 release. The script is penned by Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux. This news means that the foul-mouthed mercenary will join the PG-13 MCU and bring some new insight to the established universe.
“It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun. Again, a very different type of character in the MCU, and Ryan is a force of nature, which is just awesome to see him bring that character to life.”
A lot of productions from Marvel Studios is underway with filming including Black Panther 2, Spider-Man 3, Doctor Strange 2 this year. But with Deadpool’s integrated ability, we might see him on screen in cameos in some way or the other.
