Kenneth Branagh, the famous actor-director, is set to helm an upcoming biography for the band Bee Gee, for Paramount Pictures.

Yes, it’s true. We’re getting another music-based biopic from Hollywood. This time it’s the former Marvel-director Branagh who directs the upcoming story about the brothers of Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb and their success with their band. One of the more famous hits is Stayin’ Alive and Too Much Heaven.

Ben Elton is set to write the script. The band itself was part of the 2020s The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, directed by Frank Marshall for HBO. Kenneth Branagh is also teaming up with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment as a producer, joining together with Graham King from GK Films and production company Sister. Barry Gibb will also be the executive producer.
