Succession S03 Gets Brody And Skarsgård

HBO’s popular TV show Succession has cast both Adrien Brody and Alexander Skarsgård in the upcoming series.

 Alexander Skarsgård was cast to the series on Monday, May 3rd and Brody are the latest addition to a crowded cast including the main ensemble of Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Rob Yang.  The cliffhanger on the second season ended on a dangerous note, as it might lead to some drastic moments in the family business for the new season.

Brody will be a guest star as Josh Aaronson, billionaire activist investor to the company Waystar, owned by the Roy family.  Brody is also booked for an NBA series, a drama series of coach Pat Riley for HBO.  Brody won first for his performance in The Pianist.  He is also starring in The French Dispatch, by Wes Anderson. Skarsgård is set to play Lukas Matsson, in the third series. He previously starred in HBO dramas Big Little Lies, True Blood, and Generation Kill, Godzilla vs. Kong.

The critical success of Succession is currently in production in New York, it was supposed to begin production in early 2020 but delayed due to the global pandemic. The series is created by Jesse Armstong who also is the showrunner. The executive produces include, Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Will Ferrell, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, Jon Brown, and Scott Ferguson.
