Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven the Hunter, in the studio’s effort to expand the library of Marvel Comic’s characters with a connection to Spider-Man.
J.C Chandor, known from Triple Frontier is set to direct the new film. Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk write the screenplay. Producing are Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach. Initially, Kraven the Hunter aka Sergei Kravinoff was introduced first in 1964, as a villain to Spider-Man. Taylor-Johnson has been involved in Kick-Ass (2010) and Avengers: Age of Ultron, and lately Tenet (2020). The actor has also signed on multiple deals with Sony after executive producers saw his performance in Bullet Train.
Kraven the Hunter is planned for a release on Jan 13th, 2023.
