
Reports say that a Die Hard-writer will write Netflix’s upcoming Live-Action Series ‘Assassin’s Creed.
Jeb Stuart, who wrote the first Die Hard film, will write the upcoming TV series based on the popular video-game series from developer Ubisoft which since its debut in 2007 has sold over 155 million copies of the games. The series is a deal between Ubisoft Film & Television and Netflix in an overall deal, that was announced in October 2020, which includes the development of live-action, animated, and animé series. Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik are executive producers from Ubisoft.
Most recently, Stuart has created the Netflix own series Vikings: Valhalla, a continuation of Vikings. No premiere date has set for the series. The film adaption of the game with Michael Fassbender earned $240 million on a $125 million budget back in 2016. This series will the first series, ever made based on this particular video game.
