The upcoming The Batman plans for re-shoots.
The cast and crew for Matt Reeves’s upcoming The Batman return to Glasgow, Scotland in July to shoot the final scenes of the film and conclude production at the end of the month.
“There’s been a lot of hype about the film following the initial filming in Scotland in February and the crew are looking forward to coming back in mid-July, although it wasn’t an expected trip. It’s expected to be mainly re-shoots being done, probably of some of the stunt scenes.”
The production we’re halted due to Covid-19 and when it was thought that Robert Pattinson was infected with the virus.
“Filming will take place at the Necropolis again and also in the Merchant City and should take around a week in total. Then they’ll be heading down to York for a further two weeks’ work with a view to completely finishing production by the end of July.”
Both Pattinson’s Batman and Colin Farrell who plays Oswald Cobblepot returns to Scotland. The film cast also includes Paul Dano, Zoe Kravitz, and Alex Ferns. The anticipated film is set to open in theaters March 2022.
