Hulu’s own original spin-off called How I Met Your Father has begun its principal photography.
Creator/Showrunner Isaac Aptaker has shared a BTS photo from the set of the spin-off with the same premise but instead following a woman (Hillary Duff) and her close friends in the world of dating.
Josh Peck has also been added to the cast, to play Drew, a handsome Vice Principal at Jesse (Lowell) Elementary School. It takes place in 2021 and follows Sophie (Duff). Ashley Reyes is another addition to the cast, playing Hannah. How I Met Your Father is written by Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. Original creator Carter Bays and Craig Thomas are executive producers along with the alumna director Pam Fryman. Adam Londy Serves as Co-executive producer. Duff is producing as well.
20th Century Television is producing the series. The original series that run between 2005-2014 has been a legendary series, quoted with is humour and charm, which starred Josh Radnor as Ted Mosby, Jason Segel as Marshall Eriksen, Alyson Hannigan as Lily Aldrin, Neil Patrick Harris as Barney Stinson, and Cobie Smulders as Robin Scherbatsky.
