Universal Studios Cast Cage As Dracula In New Monster-Movie
Nicolas Cage, the old actor that God forgot has been cast as Dracula in a new movie also featuring Nicholas Holt.
Renfield, as the film now is called follows a henchman who is hunting Dracula. The feature will be directed by Chris McKay, director of The Tomorrow War och The Lego Batman Movie. McKay is producing the film together with David Alpert, Bryan Furst, and Sean Furst. Samantha Nisenboim is helming the executive production. The Renfield character was introduced in Bram Stoker’s Dracula in 1897. The character is described to be a mental patient in an asylum obsessed with drinking blood.
Ryan Ridley, who has written Ghosted and Rick and Morty, has also written the script from an original storyline by Robert Kirkman. Cage has been involved in movies such as The Rock, Con Air, Face/Off, and National Treasure. There has been a certain rumor for the horror-comedy movie to be released in April 2022 for months.
