British Veteran Delroy Lindo has been cast in Blade, the remake from Marvel Studios.
Blade, which probably will premiere in 2023 and be led by Mahershala Ali, has Lindo added to the cast. Lind’s credits include The Good Fight, The Harder They Fall, and Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods.
What the role of Lindo includes is still uncertain at the moment. It could be Jamal Afari, the mentor to Blade. The news about Ali becoming the vampire-hunter Blade was announced in 2019. Bassam Tariq is helming the directing and Stacy Osei-Kuffour is writing the script. The principal shooting is set to start in late summer 2022. Mahersala Ali had an off-screen voice-over by Post-credit in Eternals (2021). How and why is still unclear about that scene.
