
Star Trek alumna Chris Black teams up with Matt Fraction for a TV series based in the Monsterverse.
The TV series is part of the two big companies upgrading outlet. Partly, the series will be a live-action original series based on the creatures and monsters seen in prior films which have been very popular at the box office so far. The series is produced by Chris Black, a sci-fi veteran from the Star Trek, Robert Kirkman from Outcast and Matt Fraction, best known for Marvel Comic’s Hawkeye. Both Kirkman and Fraction will co-produce the series while Black is the series showrunner.
Safehouse Pictures Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell, as well as Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita of Toho Co. Ltd, are all executive producers.
Apple has released the following synopsis:
“following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real,” and will explore “one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch.”
Apple has prior to this series produced Foundation, Invasion, See; All respective series in the Sci-Fi/drama area. The series Hawkeye has learned a lot about Fraction’s comic-book works.
