Netflix are teaming-up with Universal Pictures to get an anime series of Scott Pilgrim in the works.
Edgar Wright produced the latest adaptation of the graphic novel last time and this series has not yet got its order. Bryan Lee O’Malley will be writing and executive produce BenDavid Grabinski. Anime house Science SARU will provide the animation work. Abel Gongora is hired as the director.
Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, an adaption of the film featured Michael Cera as Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Flowers and a cast that included Kieran Culkin, Chris Evan, Anna Kendrick, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman and Brie Larson to mention a few.
