Sony’s PlayStation hit video game God of War might show up as a TV-Series.
The game series from Santa Monica Studios has been available first in the first games with certain downgraded quality until 2018’s updated aka a rebooted version of the game debuted. The latest version has become a hit and the anticipated sequel of the eighth game is on the way later this year. The game takes place in Nordic mythology where the player follows the Greek god Kratos in a mystic-fantasy world.
Amazon Prime surfs on the success of the game and doesn’t want to be less bad and has now aired interest in adapting the game as a live-action TV series. No deal is yet confirmed but this one is one of many video-game adaptions including the works of Fallout, The Last of Us, Halo, Twisted Metal and Resident-Evil. All projects are under development. The producers would be Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, creators of Expanse.
Both Amazon and Sony have declined comments.
