
Tom Hiddleston joins the cast for the limited series based on a novel by David Grann, for AppleTV+.
The showrunner will be Soo Hugh, the creator of Pachinko together with Mark Heyman, the creator of Strange Angel and Black Swan. The series is inspired by a true story, the life account of Henry Worsley (Hiddleston), obsessed with adventure and takes a journey across Antarctica on foot. This will be the second TV project that Hiddleston has done for Apple TV+. He’s best known for starring as Loki in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Apple Studios and UCP produce the project with executive producer Theresa Kang-Lowe with Blue Marble Pictures. Mark Heyman, Soo Hugh and Tom Hiddleston will serve as executives producing the series.
