Jude Law joins Watts’ upcoming Star Wars series in a galaxy far, far away.

The former Spider-Man trilogy film director teams up with Christopher ford, who will write the series. Ford wrote Spider-Man: Homecoming. The news about the series came at the Star Wars Celebration, officially announcing the title: Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

The plot of the new series will take place in the New Republic Era, following a group of kids lost in the galaxy. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will executively produce the series. Jude Law’s character is still disclosed and not revealed at the moment. Law has previously joined Fantastic Beasts and Captain Marvel. He will play Captain Hook in Peter Pan & Wendy, with a planned release later this year.
