Beloved veteran actor James Caan has been confirmed dead at age 82.
Caan is most known for The Godfather, which he was Oscar-nominated for and Elf. He was active from the 1960s as an actor. Born in 1940, the actor died on July 6th, 2022. This is something the family has confirmed.
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Jimmy on the evening of July 6.

Caan also starred in The Godfather, Misery, Thief, Brian’s Song, Rollerball, Hide in Plain Sight, The Gambler, El Dorado, Funny Lady, Elf .

Our relationship was always friendship before business. I will miss him dearly and am proud to have worked with him all these years.
