Yes. It was not Marvel Studios that crushed everything with their ultimate plan. We take a swift look at the other highlights of 2022.
First DC Comics and Warner Bros revealed an official SDCC trailer for Black Adam with Dwayne Johnson dominating for a spectacular entrance. Black Adam storms into the theatre on October 21st. The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and stars Dwayne Johnson, Sarah Shahi, Pierce Brosnan
We also have Teen Wolf for Paramount Pictures aka Paramount Plus. The TV film will be released later this year on streaming services. Director is Russell Mulcahy and stars Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed, Tyler Posey
After that, we have Star Trek: Picard with a season 3 Teaser trailer. The series is starring Patrick Stewart as the title character. The series will arrive in 2023.
Of course, we have Netflix Sandman which is based on Neil Gaiman’s comic-book novels. The series is created by Gaiman, David S. Goyer and Allan Heinberg. It stars Tom Sturridge, Jenna Coleman and Boyd Holbrook. The show premieres on August 5, 2022.
At last, Shazam: Fury of the Gods is the sequel to the Shazam film. It’s directed by David F. Sandberg, and starring Zachary Levi, Grace Caroline Currey and Rachel Zegler. The film premieres later this year.
