John Goodman and Billy Crystal return as Sulley and Mike Wazowski respectively. Other from the original movie that returns is John Ratzenberger, Jennifer Tilly, and Bob Peterson as well as many other newcomers to the cast.

The official synopsis for the show:

Monsters at Work picks up six months after the original movie with the power plant at its center now harvesting the laughter of children to fuel the city of Monstropolis. The series follows Tylor Tuskmon (Feldman), an eager and talented mechanic on the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team who dreams of working on the Laugh Floor alongside Mike and Sulley.

The series is produced by Disney Television Animation and executive produced by Bobs Gannaway, Ferell Barron. Kat Good and Rob Gibbs are set to direct.
